# Workspaces

> Balance and spend, per workspace.

A workspace is an account boundary for credits and usage — your personal workspace, or a shared organization workspace if your team is set up with one.

## How it works

Each workspace has its own balance and its own 30-day usage total, tracked completely separately. If you're part of an organization workspace (set up through Sokosumi), its spend is independent of your personal one.

## Why this is useful

If your team wants to see spend broken out by project or department rather than pooled into one number, separate workspaces make that possible. From the [Credits](/en/credits/overview) page, you can drill into any workspace and then into any individual task to see exactly what it cost.
