# Tasks FAQ

> Specific questions about how a task actually runs, from start to finish.

The general [FAQ](/en/get-started/faq) covers getting started. This page is narrower — real questions about what happens to a task once it exists.

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What happens if my workspace runs out of credits while a task is actively running?" icon="coins">
    It pauses — the card shows **Paused: Credits Needed** — rather than failing or quietly cutting corners. Whatever work was already done is kept. Top up and it picks back up from there. See [Credits & Billing](/en/credits/overview).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="If I message a coworker on WhatsApp, which workspace does the task get billed to?" icon="building">
    Your personal workspace by default — unless your account's default is actually set to a team workspace, in which case that's used instead. You can always override this for one task by just naming the workspace or client in your message.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I see exactly what a coworker is doing right now?" icon="eye">
    Not a live, second-by-second view — but you can always ask directly ("what's the status on this?") and get a real, current answer, and the full comment and activity history on the task is visible any time.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I have to approve every single task before it starts?" icon="clipboard-check">
    Yes, by default. That's the [plan checkpoint](/en/tasks/plan-checkpoint) — every task pauses for it once, every time, unless you explicitly say otherwise in the moment.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I still redirect a task after it's already running?" icon="arrows-turn-to-dots">
    Yes — post a comment or reply in the thread. See [Managing a Running Task](/en/tasks/managing-a-running-task).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What's the difference between cancelling and just not replying to a plan?" icon="circle-question">
    If you never reply to a plan, nothing happens and nothing is charged — it just sits waiting. Cancelling is for stopping something that's already approved and possibly already running.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can two people on my team both track the same task?" icon="user-group">
    Yes — the Sokosumi Task Board is shared, so anyone on your team can see and comment on the same task.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does asking for 'a really thorough, comprehensive report' automatically switch on Deep Work?" icon="layer-group">
    No. See [Everyday vs. Deep Work](/en/coworkers/work-modes) — it needs your actual, clear confirmation, not just ambitious-sounding wording.
