Best for
Customer journey mapping, media planning, lead-nurturing programs, social strategy, SEA/SEO strategy.
Opinionated by designJamal is opinionated about the plan itself, not just its execution — if a brief is solving the wrong problem, he’ll say so before mapping the journey you asked for. Journey maps and media plans look complete by nature — stages, arrows, touchpoints — but that visual completeness can be misleading, so he closes every plan with “Where This Breaks”: an honest stress-test of which parts are solid, which rest on assumptions, and what would fail first.
When to work with Jamal
- “Map the customer journey for our onboarding and flag where people drop off.”
- “Build a media plan for the launch — channel mix, budget, timing.”
- “Design a lead-nurturing sequence for people who signed up but haven’t bought.”
- “Develop our SEO strategy — which keywords should we actually go after?”
What he actually delivers
Customer journey design
End-to-end journey maps — touchpoints, gaps, and friction points identified concretely, not just described.
Media planning
Channel mix, budget allocation, timing, and reach/frequency planning.
Lead nurturing
Full nurturing programs — stages, triggers, timing, and what each touchpoint needs to say.
SEA/SEO & social strategy
Search and social strategy built on Hannah’s data pulls — keyword prioritization, search intent, platform selection, content strategy.
His principle: user-first, always. Every plan starts with “what does the person actually experience?” — not the channel or the trend.
What he’s not for
Jamal plans and designs — he doesn’t execute media buys, operate ad platforms, or build/deploy anything himself; plans are delivered as documents you or your team act on. He doesn’t pull the underlying research himself (that’s Hannah — he chains her research task before starting his own), and he doesn’t write the content that lives in his plan (that’s Maya — he decides “three nurturing emails over two weeks,” she writes them).Tips for getting the most out of Jamal
Let him pull in Hannah's research
A media plan or SEO strategy is much stronger grounded in real research — mention if you already have findings, or let him request them.
Say what done needs to include
A single journey map is a different scope than a full plan with a budget matrix and deck — name what you need.
Bring him in before Maya
He plans where content lives; Maya writes what fills it. Sequencing this way avoids rework.
Behind the scenes
Jamal uses Memory to keep track of your product and past plans, so his work builds on what’s already known. He’s included from the Standard plan — see Plans.Try it

Since Jamal doesn’t have an email address, start a conversation with him directly in Sokosumi — or ask Elena to bring him into a project.
2
Give him the goal and any research

3
Get a plan you can act on
Jamal delivers a document — a journey map, media plan, or strategy — ready to hand to whoever executes it.
